It is interesting that Trump has made a u-turn on the release of the Epstein files. I may be cynical but could it be that he has now had the time to delete or lose any incriminating evidence against him? Just a thought!

I read that he has setup a separate investigation relating to prominent Democrats, including Bill Clinton.

Then by the time the files are due to be released they can then claim they cannot release them as there is an ongoing investigation and it would jeopardise the ongoing cases.

I would sincerely hope that that would not be possible but we are talking about the most powerful man in the world and America, so I guess anything could happen.

I am sure someone would know the truth if some one has unlawfully made the evidence disappear and it will come out in the end. It is up to the accusers to show Trump was involved to be fair and I think he may very well have been. However, I would like to see the proof. As you say LB, that is if it has not disappeared.

Don’t tend to get over involved in other leaders when our own government are weak and corrupt and the country is a dumping ground for every refugee under the sun.

Don’t like Trump but applaud the decision in that illegal immigration over there now is almost non existent.

We also have far more dangerous fruit cakes in our country like Jeremy Corbyn. Even Andrew and Harry are corrupt and trashed the well respected Queen.

Good on the lefties. They stand for good things, being compassionate and looking out for one another. We have been missing an excellent left wing leader for years to bring a bit of balance. I hope the Greens do well in the next elections.

I havent seen anyone refer to Shabana as racist, but cruel is kind of on the money. Asylum seekers, who have been here for a number of years and not committed crimes are not the problem and it is cruel to force them out of a society they have contributed towards.

Trump may indeed not be found guilty of anything from what the files reveal but there is no doubt whatsoever that he has done his utter most to not release them which obviously begs the question why. At the very least, I'm sure they won't reveal him in a very good light.

As POTUS, Trump could easily have authorised the release of the Epstein Files a long time ago and only under pressure from those amongst his own party (notably the likes of MTG) has he reluctantly agreed. He is still trying to deflect any mention of himself in the files by repeatedly claiming "it's all about Democrats" but he is actually mentioned some 16000 times in the latest releases and 2020 times over all.

The left leaning talk show hosts have all latched onto the brief email from Epstein's brother to him which mentions Steve Bannon, Putin and photos of "Trump blowing Bubba". His brother has since categorically denied that Bubba is Bill Clinton, puncturing that particular mental picture (thankfully&#128512 but the "who is Bubba? "story isn't likely to end anytime soon however many midnight tweets the Orange One makes or however much he attempts to deflect.
