We had the opportunities to put this game to bed way before they equalised. Mikey Johnston's finishing today was well below his usual standard.

To be fair to Mason, the team played well enough to have won that by a mile, far too many chances wasted, that’s down to the individual players. Although Johnston gave their defenders a lot of problems, he wasted at least two chances that should have been goals. We played well enough to win, should have won.

It is the same pattern game, after game, after game. Play well or decent in the first half and fall away in the second half. In actual fact it is quite easy to forecast what is going to happen. I knew that we would concede at least one and throw away all the good done in the first half. Mind you, we had two or three break always when a better ball would have done the trick.

Basic football knowledge - you defend too deep as we did and it invites pressure and you are reliant on the counter. We were at home FFS.
Mason makes mistakes game after game and I don't buy this he's young and will learn. Football is a cut throat ruthless business just like being the captain of a large blue chip company. There's plenty of young managers that are good enough. Bit like saying Bostock is a kid - well if he's good enough he should play and all it takes is a brave manager to make that decision like Arteta did with a 15 year old school boy playing at a much higher level than our league.
Millwall and Preston have spent less than us but are playing some great football. Our squad is good enough in my view to be challenging along side the Millwall's and Preston's. I am sure they would say to they need a few re-enforcements.
It's a must win on Saturday otherwise for me Mason should go. It's a pity Mason didn't work his way up in management like Derek McInnes who is now reaping the rewards and he's proved it's not just about money.
