  • Dike and Bany

Both out injured until after the September International break. What a joke these two have been up to now.

Personally I don?t feel sorry for Dike anymore as his salary is one of the highest. Get him fit at the end of September and get rid of the waste of space!

Harsh - would you think it?s harsh if it was your business v salary paid and games played? Not at all!

Terminate Mr Dike's contract as he is just unfortunate with injures.
As for the other guy....has he even played since signing?

Pointless terminating his contract as he will want it paying up until June 26 so around 1.5 million. I would sell him at a bargain price or pay at least 50% of his wages to any other club - same with Bartley and Wallace who contribute nothing and are on top wages. No wonder the club is one big mess!!!

I think he will see his contract out till next summer ,then we shouldn't offer another contract .

                  Thanks soulman buddy…I think.
I don’t believe Dike is swinging the lead, but the continued injuries sustained will significantly reduce any serious transfer. We might as well therefore keep him until contract renewal.
I admit to feeling some sympathy for him, from the point of view of his evident desire to play.

For me, Banys injury issues are more a concern than Dikes. At least with Dike we know he?s fragile and can plan accordingly.

Bany has had a lot of knocks since coming here and I hope we havent been unlucky enough to sign another with a bad injury record. A players best ability is availability!

Truly don't understand the 'club is one big mess!!' comment. Two years ago we exactly that and on the way to being a 'Sheffield Wednesday.' Now we are in a much better place.

I feel sorry for Dike. When he joined he most have been desperate to score us a lot of goals, be a Premier League player, and most of all be in the USA squad for a home World Cup. All now gone it seems. I bet the lad's devastated. Any human would be.

That's a real shame about Daz Dike. 😕
Maybe we really did get lucky with him, in that one amazing Play off 'Covid' season, under Val Ismael.

I've only just noticed the comment, aww tahh very much Soulman lol.
Although whisper it quietly, but I'm not actually from there. 😄
It does still seem weird as well though, without uncle Mick on here.

Its not worked out for us at all as a club but if anyone of us were in his position Im sure we would want the security of the contract payments till it runs out. I dont think Bany is in the same boat just unlucky but not to the same level as Dyke.

Many but not everyone. Bartley could have hung on for another year and Frabotta left too! Good on them!

Dike has been paid well over 6 million for 43 appearances on the highest salary on the payroll. Not his fault say some? Not the clubs either who have a financial problem. We need to get him fit and try and sell him or loan him out paying a percentage of his wages. Not even impressed in my view either!

                              43 appearances FFS!!
