A few green shoots of intensity from us and then a stupid mistake and we are 2 down. Both teams sound poor but QPR's tails are up now. Maja (who has, like too many, been poor today) off for Price. And now another mistake and QPR luckily miss an open goal. Maybe 30 mins to change things?

It?s not the players but a manager who is clearly out of his depth. Millwall are playing great football and they spent less than us and don?t have better players! Down to a clueless Mason!

Heggebo 1-2! Will this be the spark to at least let us rescue a point? About 20 mins to do it.

70 mins and 2 down before we start to play, it?s pathetic, should be like this from the 1st minute

Two form teams next, Southampton and Sheff Utd, come Friday night we could be 19th/20th, all down to Mason and Nestor

                Or not 😞
There had been some improvement second half with more intent from the likes of Styles and Johnston but still not good enough and poor defending for the goals. Is it Mason or the players? Sounds like a bit of both to me but any hopes of a corner turned seem premature at best. Not looking forward to Tuesday's game against Southampton....

100% down to Mason. Is our squad any worse than Millwall who have spent less than us and are third playing great football? I remember Millwall was one match where we didn?t even have an attempt on goal!

How can this carry on???? Based on the last dozen games or so there is simply no way that Mason can turn it around ie win say 3 games on the bounce!! So how much longer will the owner decide to call time on Mason?

Unfortunately, you could well be correct!

As manager, of course Mason has to shoulder the blame but I also can't help but feel that the players also let both themselves and him down today with the lack of intensity and defensive mistakes. This is was not all about Wildsmith starting in front of Griffiths.

I know it's a thin squad and having a lot of away games with not too much rest inbetween matches does not help, but those on the pitch today are capable of both better quality and more desire and they didn't begin to show much of either until too late.

As for Mason's team selection, which he clearly has control of, aside from Wildsmith, I didnt have an issue. He subbed Price for Maja, which in fairness started to work but whilst he could have tried Bostock I don't think the bench today really offered him many options to turn things around as it did against Swansea.

Same in a work place though Omeg - you get some managers who are useless - couldn’t inspire anybody - a real jobs worth then other managers with the same team - get great results - motivated staff and financial targets go through the roof! I saw it often!

Are Millwall’s squad any better than ours? No but they have a good manager who is getting the best out of them! Tactically Mason is clueless and it shows!

I would bring in a manager experienced with the Championship and clear out Abella and Morrison too! Lose the next two games he will be gone! Patel is not stupid!

Today has been quite concerning. There are too many slow, ponderous performances and some of the decisions dont make sense.

Surely changing two in the back line was fairly radical; to add a goalie change just creates uncertainty. Away from home I think thats a daft decision and seemingly one Mason did not have to make. Wildsmith was also partly responsible for the third goal too.

I dont get Maja in the 10. I know some fans called for it and the only alternative was Price who is out of sorts (I am assuming Bany is still not up to speed). He isnt the most mobile and away from home you have to get in faces and make it difficult. He isnt able to do that. I also think he wants to play with his back to goal which we dont need with Heggebo up top.

Decision making of players is costing us again, which isnt down to manager but 6 away defeats in a row is.

We switched to a 3 man defence at Charlton and despite losing, I thought it was a good away performance. I dont know why we havent seen Mason implement that system again.

Getting close to a relegation battle if not careful here.
Don't think anybody would come in.

All valid points Matt but you have forgotten the summary which I will do for you.

The system changes week after week so the players don’t know whether they are coming or going so there’s no consistent plan. All in all, Mason is out of his depth and enough is enough!

                                It’s a pleasure and have a great weekend 😭
