  • Wrexham

Seems a bit of negativity about Wrexham splashing the cash. I say good luck to them as in fairness their American owners have backed them from non league with huge investment.

Wouldn?t surprise me if Wrexham are right up there or challenging for a play off position. I do think Ipswich will walk the league though with the talent they have.

The Championship is a hard enough league anyway with clubs competing against those recently relegated from the Prem, but this season will be harder still with both Wrexham and Blues coming up into the mix. Both have drive and ambition and both have significant financial backing with no psr to hamper them.

BTW, Ive not properly watched the Brady/Built in Birmingham program on Amazon Prime but some interesting scenes including his assessment of Rooney's "lackadaisical" attitude and a shot that will surely bring a smile to not just the faces of Blues fans but to Baggies too-that of a small white caravan with AVFC Changing Room spray painted on it

I think Wrexham and blues will both be promotion contenders. Both showing ambition and we have to remember they dont have the debt problems we have. We really shouldnt be expecting too much this season. If good things happen it will be a bonus. I dont care what other teams do Im just glad Lai has gone and when we recover financially he wont have any hold on this club any more.
