Would still prefer Griffiths in goal!

Given injuries to Molumby, Mowatt and Collier, I guess Mason hasn't got a lot of choices midfield wise and with Beilik out too, the back 4 would have pretty much picked themselves too with Styles moving into midfield. Still a bit surprised he prefers Wildsmith over Griffiths though.

Anyhow, some enforced changes or not, it's a decent line up if they can play with the intent they have shown themselves capable of in more recent games (and for more than just one half!). Let's hope Price's overdue return to form also starts today and that the home fans are rewarded with a decent performance and the 3 points!

Including a further 3 youngsters in the team list for today alongside Ollie Bostock is surely further evidence of the lack of depth in the squad. Don't think we will see much in the way of transfer activity to alleviate this either. Still, on the other hand it is good to see our more promising youngsters being selected. I think both Diomande and Mfuamba have been on the bench before but not DuPont.

Price is utterly hopeless, one on one, smacked it straight at the keeper dearkite heads straight at the keeper from 2 inches and then Price, with clear sight on goal, blasts it 75 feet wide

Don't think Mason can be blamed for that soft goal. Whether or not their off-side player was "interfering with play" (I think he probably was) or not, that was poor defending again and our response to going I-0 down has not been as it should be either. Price should have done better with his chance too.

Now Styles down from a poor challenge so hope he is ok. Looked a rather deliberate elbow to me too

0-2 😞 Bristol are nothing special but we again allow them far too much time on the ball and, unlike us, they can finish.

Grant just showed energy and intent again but why was no-one in the box for him!
