  • Another Disappointing Day at the Hawthorns

Such a sad scene to witness again with the dispersal of our fans in such low spirits leaving the ground.

Whilst Mason was subject to complaints, there must also be some responsibility with the players. As evidenced by the booing at the end of both halves. Sadly, it seems Mason is unable to maintain the team motivation for the full 90 minutes - the prospect of a run of back to back wins therefore seems impossible.

It is evident that all of us there are wishing to get behind our team, but the players must earn this. The show of some pride would help the release of the fans pent up emotions in a positive voice.

There were some exciting incidents, but overall a feeling of an absence of plans and formation.

Congratulations to the Bristol fans who maintained their dominant voice throughout.

I was surprised to read that the attendance was 25000+ It looked much emptier than that. (Maybe the number includes season tickets sold rather than turnstile numbers)

I'm pretty sure the attendance is tickets sold rather than who turns up7

Football attendance figures typically refer to the number of tickets sold or issued, not the actual number of people who physically turn up to the ground

Clubs mainly use the tickets sold figure for commercial purposes. Announcing higher attendance numbers helps give the impression of a fuller stadium, which can potentially attract better sponsors and generate interest in more season ticket sales.
