  • Wildsmith.

I have been following the Albion since the fifties and while I am not saying that he is the worst goalkeeper we have had, he must rate amongst the worst. What motivates Mason to select him in front of Griffiths, I just do not know. I am sure that he will pick him again tonight but it just baffles me. Except for the second Swansea goal Griffiths has not made any real howlers.

As far as I am concerned I think that Griffiths will become a more than decent goalkeeper, that is if Masons reluctance to select him does not shatter his confidence. Mason, use your head and pick hm tonight!

The only conclusion I can draw is Mason has had a bit of a falling out with Griffiths or more than likely the other way round

Must be a fall out, but Wildsmith should have been dropped again by now, perhaps tonight, team news out at 6:30 pm

Griffiths was always the best option. Yes he made the odd error but the truth is there were those that wanted a change in goal when of course most of us did not.

The change was made and it has had a detrimental effect on the players at the back, the whole side probably.

I hope Mason will revert to Griffiths, not sure he will though.

Although I would like to have Griffiths back in goal, I hope that Wildsmith does not have a bad game; I don’t wish any Albion player ill.
