Is it a weaker squad than last season? We've lost Swift, Ajayi and Diangana (who all had to go in my view) and bought Heggebo, Campbell and Phillips.

I think the squad if anything is slightly improved. But we finished what 9th last season? And the teams around us have got better, the 3 that have come down and Wrexham and Blues coming up. Not to mention teams like Millwall, Norwich and QPR have all improved their squad. If we finish top half and show signs of improvement I'll be happy, because I think this year is a season of transition.

You forget the most crucial piece of the jigsaw - we lost Palmer and in my view that cost us the play offs. Griffiths is a poor keeper compared to Palmer and some of the goals he?s let in were embarrassing. Do the defence is much shakier since CC left and now we may lose Heggem! Personally I can?t see the direction.

Hopefully Cole will go who is a league 1 player and get Dike fit and get the biggest salary off the payroll.

Without any knowledge of the new players, it is difficult to compare.
Somehow though, I do consider that the overall standard of this season?s top 6 will be higher than last year.

I agree with you! For me though I would rather we sell Fellows than Heggem even though their values are different. Fellows is easily replaced where Heggem isn?t - bit like Palmers replacement.

We need to work harder to get Dike, Wallace and Bartley off the books as their wages are a huge drain and they now contribute very little!
