This is a difficult watch, we are so poor, it’s almost like attack against defence and it’s not Albion doing the attacking! Dreadful performance.

Can you imagine if we sneeked through and were to be drawn against Wolves. They would absolutely hammer us!Originally posted by kettering_baggie View PostThis is a difficult watch, we are so poor, it’s almost like attack against defence and it’s not Albion doing the attacking! Dreadful performance.

Well that was a rather lucky win after a mostly poor game but really pleased for Bostock for both his assist and then keeping his head under pressure for that winning penalty. Let us hope that this sees him begin to get his opportunities now-seems better than Illing-Junior at least! I also hope, of course, that Whitwell is ok and that he too gets his chances.
Was great to see one of our promising youngsters link up with an old hand for Wallace's goal and proof that, while he may not have the legs, Jed can still make his experience count. Sadly-and rather too inevitably-poor defending from Taylor however saw Swansea quickly equalise. Hopefully, Belik's removal was nothing serious and we will go back to a more solid back 4 in time for the Boro game.
Difficult to accurately say from just listening to the match but despite some sloppy play and a generally poor performance, it did sound like they tried and although I'm bemused at the attempts to play out from the back, I don't think that Morrison got a lot else wrong tbf given that he was never going to start all of our best eleven in a cup game and given the quality of some of those others available to him. He was certainly right to give both Bostock and Whitwell their opportunities and-though I may be in the minority here😁-I also think he was right to at least start Dike.
Morrison himself acknowledges that this was not a good performance and that we rode our luck too much at times but he is right when he says that the most important thing was to dig in and fight for a win which is what they eventually managed. Scrappy, ugly and lacking in quality it may have been but that didn't matter so much today-the win did.

Good for the new manager ahead of the Boro game with positivity around. Hope useless Mason was watching and saw Bostock because he did not have the billy bollox to give him minutes!Originally posted by Leicesterbaggie View PostThere have been many games that we have been the better side and not got we have deserved so today makes a change. Let?s hope that the tide is turning and that we get the lucky breaks that have deserted us this season.

In my mind Matt both Maja and Dike are finished. Both are slow, clumsy and look overweight.Originally posted by baggiematt View PostI know he scored but I hope thats the last time we watch Maja. He is absolutely honking. Unfit and couldnt care less.
Morrisons post match interview is class. He has to have a pipeline to be our next gaffer. He would put it all on the line for the club. Top bloke.
Morrison got some brownie points today with the team he picked and introduction of our youngsters who were class. Bostock should be interchanged with Wallace and Junior can do one!
Ramsay appointed but we need one if not two very good midfielders. Styles ok but for me there?s better out there and Mowatt too slow plus Molumby lacks talent and creativity. Midfield is our problem and also our defence needs tightening - Gilchrist looks a liability and Campbell is never a full back and often ball watching or awkward on the ball.
Bostock and Whitwell the future though
