Although I thought Bartley underperformed over the last couple of seasons, he has been a loyal servant to the club and I wish him good luck for the future.

Good luck Barts for your future .
He has done right for himself and the club ,a lot of players would have seen the last year of his contract in the treatment room .

Been a good servant to our club and sadly received too much criticism from sections of our supporters. Wish him good luck for the future.

This has come as a bit of a shock so close to the start of the season.
No more Kyle Bartley Ballan dor.

Overall I think he was pretty solid player for us who was definitely unfairly targeted and criticised, particularly the Blues home game a couple of years back. That was disgraceful from our fans in my view.

He certainly under performed towards the end of last season, but perhaps he was carrying an injury. And absolutely fair play to him for retiring rather than sitting on his hands and getting paid for a season, that says a lot about him.

                  Wish him all the best.

All the very best to him.

Certainly not the player he was for us last season and I wasn't over keen on some of the finger pointing he could be prone to, but no doubting that he has been a loyal and solid player for us over the years who was integral to the team. The knee injury clearly drove his decision to retire, which could not have been an easy one to make but -as others have said-hats off to him for making this choice rather than staying to pick up a wage.
