Ryan Mason was slaughtered for under achieving with a side people felt should be close to promotion - and he absolutely did under achieve. However, to make the top 6 what do we need?
Realistically I don't think there's many teams that would be chasing the squad, I think Price and Heggebo could probably play above us, potentially Phillips and Mepham but really for a decent challenge I think we would actually need a good number of players and positions.
Goalkeeper wise neither fill me with confidence
Full Backs I just feel we're a little light
Centre Halves - Plenty of options could say this is all good enough
Central Midfield - Much of a muchness, missing some creativity and pace at times, ability to beat a man and control a game
Wingers - Bit inconsistent, happy to say we've enough should Ramsay get the best out of what we have but could argue we need one
Striker - Really like Heggebo, Maja definitely has positives could say we have enough but then always feel we lack goals..
Just opening up thoughts on what we need to challenge and how good this squad actually is. My thoughts are we are actually 10-12th with potential to push slightly higher with good management.
