Apparently we are looking to sign Patterson, a goalkeeper, on loan from Sunderland. Why? If Ramsay thinks this is a priority he is more deluded than I thought. Griffiths was not at fault for any of last nights goals and should be way down the list of problems to solve. It is very worrying that he thinks that this is going to make us a better side after the debacle v. Norwich. What planet is he on?

Personally, I do not rate Palmer and are of the view Palmer was a different class. Griffiths does not put confidence in those in front of him and poor at commanding his area. He may be better than Wildsmith but equally he is awful.
For me Griffiths needs to be replaced but a decent creative midfielder is more important.

Statistically speaking we have the worst an second worst goalkeepers in the league. Theres a wider story though of easy chances via poor defending.
I do think if we want to be ready for a relegation fight, we need an experienced head in goal and a reset for the defence.
We need several players and this is just one position.

Reserve keeper from Bristol City
Can't get a game in Bristol. Joining us?Originally posted by baggieal View PostBristol City reserve keeper! Wow fkin wow!
Griffiths? well that will do his confidence the world of good.
It's the defence folding that exposes him
Ramsay with a set up not suited to us , Nestor with a model that hasn't worked et al are the problems
Tis getting worse and worse.

With respect, the stats are meaningless, eyesight can tell you whether a goalie is any good or not, a manager or coach should have no problem in that respect. Anyway, the ‘keeper’s stats will be affected by the defence in front of them, tactics and even the weather. I do believe that reliance on statistics is foolish and naive.Originally posted by Bombers right foot View PostJosh Griffiths - 2025/2026

You can get the odd person who swears by stats and would say based on such we are Barcelona 😭Originally posted by kettering_baggie View PostWith respect, the stats are meaningless, eyesight can tell you whether a goalie is any good or not, a manager or coach should have no problem in that respect. You are right though - your mince pies will tell you our midfield is slower than a horse and cart and the defence has more holes than the Titanic! Not forgetting our missed chances up front mean we could not score in a whore house 😂😂😂

Totally agree LB. Look at Grant - on the positive he does loads of running but his end product is poor. Heggebo chases every ball and gets in a few good headers but his speed of thought with feet is slow - look at that chance against Boro where it should have been bang but always a few seconds too slow, It?s called quality or talent which we lack!Originally posted by Leicesterbaggie View PostTotally agree Ketts. Statistics are meaningless. You judge a goalkeeper, or any other player for that matter, on what you see. End of!
