  • Leicester deducted six points.

Leicester have been deducted six points putting them on the same number of points as us but a better goal difference. Most Leicester fans were fearing it would have been twelve!

I thought the deduction would be 12 points. So, in the light of that, I stand by my assertion that we should not have sold our best players. Had we retained them, even with Mason in charge, I am confident that we would have easily been in the playoff places; so, a six point deduction for us would have left us in a better place than where we are now and with a better team. Of course, now it is only conjecture but I am certain that the owners of the club have overwhelmingly demonstrated their lack of knowledge regarding English football. As a result of Leicester’s six point deduction, I am far less confident that we will survive the relegation dogfight.

Agree with all that apart from Mason! Had we retained those players with a McInnes, Carrick or Bilic then yes I agree!

Let?s not forget to Patel purchased the club for a damn good price so he?s no saviour but a businessman looking to make money. No harm in that but there?s no love in!

Well, a twelve point deduction may have helped save us but six points won't make things any easier. (Tbh, I never expected a 12 point deduction in any case).

What this does show is, when it comes to the FA and the EFL the playing field is slanted more to some than others.

We should not be in the position we are but we are, so it is up to the coach and managers to get us away from it. I am not sure they are capable of that sadly.

I would agree with Ketts, and in my view, whether or not Leicester were deducted six or twelve points, the clubs owners biggest mistake was removing Mason when they did. Things were bad but we were picking up points and not shipping goals, unlike now.

Yes, there were pros and cons as to whether Mason should have been sacked. What we did not envisage was the absolute carnage that has resulted with the appointment of Ramsay.

There is plenty of time to retrieve the situation but I am afraid that I have little confidence that he is capable of doing it, especially if he persists with the current tactic of playing with wing backs. Does he not realise that we do not have the players to fulfil this type of play. Our only chance is to revert to a back four because as OB states we were at least picking up points and not shipping tons of goals which would be enough to ensure our safety.

I never thought that I would advocate this so early in a managers tenure, but lose to Stoke and he has to go!

It was the right time to sack Mason in my view and the visiting supporters at Leicester were united in their chants - Mason out!

They said only a clown would replace Mason with a rookie the same age with no championship experience! It was the CHEAP option! We should have gone with Carrick, Bilic or tried to get McInnes.

The club do not learn! Even Mowbray was better than Mason and Ramsey and I honestly think he was p issed off with Nestors stupid model and the constraints it brought!

I have no doubt Mowbray will do a decent job elsewhere!

The Leics point deduction will not make any difference to our relegation struggle.
Somewhat off topic, I consider Mozza has an important role in our battle. He really must push back on Ramsey’s formation. Mozza has the knowledge and experience of our performances this season. There will be support amongst the old coach team and indeed senior players. Unfortunately, I don’t think he has the strength to, respectfully, counter the format and stand up against Ramsey.
                I hope I’m wrong.

I'll admit I don't know what Leics did wrong as it's been so long ago.
It was rumoured it was going to be 6 points and that amount will only prevent them from challenging for promotion which they were managing to do by themselves anyway.
I hope the table makes better viewing on Saturday evening than it does presently.
I should be in attendance to see the results of a weeks coaching.
