Most of the high profile victims would have been paid off so part of the agreement is non disclosure going forward. See below in terms of Andrew Mountbatten where nothing at the time was proven;

Agree with you Leics. Difficult to see any other reasons and we know -as Al has said-that some NDA settlements have already been made. The whole thing is so far away from the "transparency" that Trump and his apologists like Katie Zacharia are pushing. On one hand, some of the victims have had their photographs published in the released files against their wishes and on the other, released e-mails of suspicious and (at best) ***ist content have had the names of Epstein's correspondents redacted. I Wonder why?🤔

The breadth of Epstein's networking amongst the world's rich and powerful was so wide that I am sure that it took in some who may not have been aware of his activities and who were not guilty of any wrong doing themselves but they won't like any damage by association. I honestly cannot see us getting any real transparency over the Epstein files for some years to come-and certainly not under the presidency of DJT.
