Advice from the mouth of a young person.

My daughter, who is six-teen, heard me asking my son if he would update the prediction league. We were still in London after Saturdays rugby and I was busy with a few emails. She turned to us and said ?have you two not learned from what we have been told about how you should deal with (I will not use the name she used in order not to offend) these sorts, have you not listened to the advice given by the charities we support. Dad, we lost one of our own because of this type of situation. Please show me you have learned. Be the bigger person and let it be.?

I looked at her for just a moment and I made the decision to let it be. She was right, absolutely right. To that end I will not continue being part of the prediction league. I accept the decision made by the person who runs it and I will leave it there.

It is amazing sometimes how you can learn from your own children.
