  • NHS Workers Pay Rise

NHS workers to get 3.3% pay rise from April
More than a million NHS workers will get a 3.3% pay rise from April, Health Secretary Wes Streeting has announced.
The increase for the 2026-2027 period is above the forecasted inflation rate of 2.2%.
Streeting says it signifies a "real terms pay rise" for NHS staff.

What a bunch of absolute idiots running this government. Wow oh fkin Wow 3.3% and yet all the bills are going up by much more and council tax will soon increase by 5% on average! No wonder a lot of our Nurses are going to food banks?

Meanwhile Universal Credit will go up by 6.2% so what an absolute p iss take for these NHS workers. Maybe all the maternity staff should be thrilled with delivering all the extra babies after the 2 child cap was abolished!

    Take a bow Labour!

Its an above inflation wage rise, what is the issue?

For a bloke that helps homeless people, you dont care too much that they get a little extra in their pockets? Its a 6 pound a week increase, not exactly a gross injustice.

Read the point! Must bills including council tax will average around 5% increase so they will be worse off. Why is universal credit even increasing let alone with inflation by 6.2%. How would you feel working a 12 hour shift and some lazy t wat who has been on universal credit for years gets a far bigger increase? It?s not right!

Universal credit should be reduced to get people off benefits because in some cases it?s more financially better to stay at home than work. Do you support this?
