Very interesting from Mick passed on to me but came has no surprise:

Livermore did a speaking evening in the Black Country recently.

Talked about how Bilic was the only manager who was able to get a tune out of Diangana.

Apparently Diangana would be great in training one day and then if he?d had an argument with his partner he?d turn up and not give a **** the following day.

Also, he was late to training almost every day which brought a ?250 club fine, so he called at the cashpoint each day and handed over the cash when he arrived at training.

Livermore said that this sort of thing has been an issue at Albion for the past decade, too many have had this mindset.

I think Bilic would have benefited greatly from having a strong leader in the dressing room to help iron out any problems behind the scenes, especially during and immediately following Covid. Can't think for the life of me who the captain was. You know, that certain someone with the minerals to lead by a gritty and determined example to the others. Now who was Bilic's captain, his eyes and ears in the dressing room at the time? Oh yeah. Nice fella went by the nickname of Big Jake, always there to put an arm around everyone when he could have done with sticking his boot up a few backsides. Taxi for Livermore ?
