  • Sean Dyche - Anyone?

Would you sack Ramsay and appoint Dyche if we could? As much as my feelings are saying give it Morrison until the season ends my heart is telling me it would be more of the same with him, Abella and Myhill.

    Look at Dyche:
The 54-year-old has plenty of experience in the Championship, guiding Burnley to promotion on two occasions, and given that West Brom will obviously have long-term aspirations of reclaiming their top flight status, he could be a fantastic long-term appointment.

I read this yesterday on News Now. Might be worth punt, but would he want a relegation from Championship to league one on his CV.

My first reaction to this thread was to be first to put “Dyche out” (Just joke ).

Seriously though, if he was unable to make a fist of it quickly, how long would he be given before we look at someone else. We don’t have a particularly good track record over the last decade or so.

Good point! We need a manager with championship experience who would want to complete the job next season if we stay up. Rowett may be a decent choice for Leicester.

      Would you have Bilic back?

Sean Dyche is from Kettering, too, so that would be good! Maybe he could give me a lift to the matches?

I would indeed. My only concern is they say never go back and in the case of Tony Mowbray for instance.

Bilic did a great job though ( my view anyway ) and love his passion. You could always get excited by Bilic and whilst Mowbray is a nice guy, he was recovering from illness and perhaps a little too old now.

Only if he turned back time, arrived with parachute payments, Pereira and reimbursed the club to the tune of Karlan Grant's transfer fee and contract. In full.

By the way. From the depths of somewhere I seem to remember that Sean Dyche once said his brother supports none other than............ West Bromwich Albion.

Its safe to say we are not attracting someone like Dyche.

Firstly, we couldn't afford him. He's only just had the chop at Forest and usually they continue to pay the contract for its length of time. He was probably on a pretty penny there.

And secondly, we aren't a pull anymore. Financial constraints, a poor squad. Why would he come here when there are probably 10 other teams in our league alone who have a better chance of promotion than us next season.

We have to be honest with ourselves. This season the only managers who are likely to be in charge is Ramsay, and if he goes, then it's Morrison. Choose your poison.

Good point. I would take that Lincoln manager like a shot - but the same thing which is why would he come to us when both clubs could be heading in opposite directions, Sad but true!

Do you have Sir Garys number because him and Morrison would at least give passion!

Dyche is an interesting idea and, given his experience, could do well but even if we could afford him I don't see what would attract him to us. It's true that-if we do manage to avoid relegation- there will be some funds available over the summer for a rebuild but those funds would still be limited and would Dyche really want to be a part of such a project?

Doing a great job, probably do well in the Championship, but not with our lot masquerading as footballers
