Ha ha - passing ships in the night might be the better word! Young pacey players and clearly no fluke when they hammered us!

Got more chance of attracting Sean Bean

Based on what I've seen in interviews I've always quite liked Sean Dyche, comes across very well. And his football is nowhere near as bad as has been suggested over the years. It's fairly traditional without being excessively agricultural. Sadly we have about as much chance of landing him in our current predicament as I have of landing on the moon.

Assuming he possesses the attributes to enhance the performance of our squad, sufficient to maintain our Championship status?.then maybe Patel would consider a one off payment to achieve same ? A ?4million deal would be a decent investment. If relegation occurs, a significantly lower payment.

Financially, I guess sensible, given the inevitable deterioration of the Club income in League 1. I wonder what figure would entice him (if any)

A bit of realism wouldn't go amiss. Totally, utterly out of our league.

I agree Titchfieid and he would never come! That Lincoln manager needs snapping up but why would he come to us when both clubs could be going in the opposite direction!

If we were going to employ the Lincoln manager we should have tried to instead of appointing Ramsay. I am afraid it is too late now as he would not entertain coming to us with Lincoln now in the position that they are. Our board has to take full responsibility for the decision to appoint Ramsay, which to my mind, was a huge mistake.

Jimmy Morrison should be given the job to the end of the season.

Agree with that along with someone like Brunt or even Megson to assist. If that happened the atmosphere would be electric!
