West Bromwich Albion have parted company with men’s first team Head Coach Eric Ramsay.

Assistant Head Coach Dennis Lawrence has also departed The Hawthorns.

The club would like to place on record its thanks to Eric and Dennis and wishes them well for the future.

First Team Coach James Morrison will oversee first-team affairs on an interim basis.

Can this mean a positive influence on performance on Saturday? Hopefully so, we are so desperate for a win.

I am all for giving coaches etc. time to settle in but this appointment was a disaster waiting to happen. If Mr Patel had invested more time and money in securing the right person for the job in the first place we would not be where we are.

However, we are where we are and that is obviously not in the best of places. I’m not sure whether the players have it in them to keep us up Mozza got one hell of a job on his hands.

Patel had better get the next full time appointment right, that’s if there is enough money to appoint someone with nouse. If not I would hope Mr Patel finds a buyer of good intentions because we have gone having who was financially inept (in a footballing sense) to one who appears equally so.

3 points on Saturday is a must. No pressure Mozza.
