  • Prime Minister.

Do not get me wrong, I am no supporter of Keir Starmer or the Labour Party but, as we have said regarding our own managerial situation, be careful what you wish for! The prospects of a new PM are frightening in the extreme, especially if that name is Angela Rayner.

How can anybody contemplate having somebody who is semi literate representing our country. It would be embarrassing in the extreme. Mind you, at least she would have done everything proper. That is the level of her grasp of the English language. (By the way, please excuse my lack of inverted commas as this site does not appear to understand them either). This coupled with her dodgy dealings does not augur well for the future. If Starmer does go, to my mind she could well be favourite.

Angela Rayner PM, scary, scary! However, would be no bad thing if it guaranteed that Labour loses the next election.

Yep, Starmer is inept but whilst I actually agree with Raynor on some things, the thought of her as PM seriously scares me too. In spite of all his failings, however, think that Starmer is still likely to survive simply because there aren't any suitable replacements.

I wanted to ask just why would anyone think that Rayner is automatically the next in line? I don’t think she has PM material image about her, but then I think if they’re capable of selecting the tool makers son then it wouldn’t surprise me. Sorry had to us the Al term there.
Surely there’d be a leadership contest anyway. Labour just keep can’t help shooting themselves in the foot.. the reason they are here since the by election result is because they faced that threat from Burnham. Anyone smart enough should have accepted him and made an agreement that he’s not allowed to contest til the run up to the next election- surely this is a safety move an ensuring labour have some chance. But no, they only like most politicians care about themselves before party, let alone country.
