  • Thoughts for Sheffield Utd?

    Myhill to be the keeper?

At a loss because there?s problems in every position! Midfield is shocking! I would not pay Maja or Dike with a bag of coins. Almost five million for Heggebo FFS!

Play Morrison in midfield - even if retired some while, he can?t be as bad as what we have.

The prospect of three points from this game is very slim indeed. One point at best, and that is being a tad optimistic.

Sometimes the form book goes out of the window. On Saturday, we can only hope that the window is open!

Not a bad shout to be fair Thomas, probably still the best central midfielder in training. And as for any lack of pace due to previous injuries and being 39 now I can't see it being a problem. Should fit right in. Difference being give him the ball on the edge of the box and he's far more likely to hit the back of the net with an absolute thunderb@st@rd of a shot. COYB 😎.

Maybe he can persuade the likes of Jonas, Brunty, Scharner, Gera, Greening and Odemwingie to join him and I understand Big Dave and Supersub Kev are about doing a talk show across local venues as well so maybe he could rope them in too? What's Bomber's mobility like these days I wonder? 😁

Its hard to even know where to start!

But, I'd probably begin with dropping Wallace, Taylor and Price.

Heard a few mention Diakite in defence, I wouldn't be against that if Phillips isn't fit. And I wouldn't be against him playing in midfield for either Mowatt or Molumby if Phillips is fit. I do think we actually miss Phillips when he doesn't play.

From Saturday's performance, other than Campbell, Styles and Bostock, and probably the Keeper (because there is literally nobody else in his case) I wouldn't care if anyone else got dropped.

I actually feel sorry for Mozza. He's got an impossible job on his hands, but at least he's saying what we're all thinking after games.

If I had to pick, I think I'd go something like...
                O'Leary
                Campbell, Phillips/Diakite, Bielek, Styles
                Mowatt, Molmuby
                Bostock, Jimoh, Whitwell
                Heggebo

I don't see what else we could do. And I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel.

Good points there 123. I too would drop Wallace, Taylor and Price. That said, this will be Morrisons weakness - he will not want to drop super Jed for Bostock!

How a player who is not consistently on the field regularly keeps the captaincy is a fkin joke! No wonder we have fallen so far FFS!

You are right Jonny! Apart from Bostock, Williams, Whitwell, Griffiths, Styles and Campbell - they can all do one! Huge clear out needed and to think if we go down some of these bottlers will be on 25K a week makes you sick!

Maybe a queue of clubs will come in for Mowatt and Molumby 😂😂😂😂

Fine everyone ?1,000 for every back pass when a forward pass is an option. Tongue in cheek, but you get the drift. I'm surprised, given our position, and the fact that not many of the first team will be here next season, that a) they are not busting a gut in the shop window, and b)we are not giving the younger guys experience at this level, so that next years level will not be a surprise. Football management is on another planet to real management.

I could not agree more! I remember Morrison in the last game v Luton when we had nowt to pay for playing Diangana over a youngster when he was leaving, That decision has stayed with me and does sum him up!

I would rather go down fighting with youngsters than overpaid 25K a week dross like Wallace, Maja and Dike. Wallace is a good pro the odd few say but he?s s hite at football and was finished two years ago. Dike and Maja will be tearful when we go down - counting their millions for doing f uck all!!!

Yes, indeed Dan?. Brunty too maybe!?

Not Myhill though, even though he would ?cover? a larger area of the goal?

                            😇

Still a few tickets on sale for those interested, 245 on the ticket site though I think the allocation to Albion was over 2000 so lots of vocal support on Saturday.
