No surprise Wallace missed - useless!

What a shambles! Absolutely appalling penalties loses us a game that we should have won by a country mile. Derby were absolutely useless and yet they go through to the next round.

Mason should take the team down to lowly Bromley for a lesson on how to smack penalties into the net -

Only saw the highlights but from various reports I've read seems like there were some positives from a game we should have put to bed.

Whilst Wildsmith and Wallace got (surprisingly &#128513 poor reviews, seems like Williams looks promising and Campbell impressed. Elsewhere, Taylor did ok but lacked pace and not yet ready, Styles did well, both Heggebo and Price rated and the creative Mikey turned up to push for a starting place against Wrexham as did Diakite. Reviews I've read of Fellows seemed mixed while Mowatt had a good game. Accurate?

All pretty much accurate. Campbell was excellent and Williams will be an improvement on Furlong. Diakite was excellent and should start at Wrexham. Maja looked sharp but most likely needs more minutes. Mikey was super too but needs to work on his final ball.

You just knew Grant and Wallace would miss those penalties which my late granny could have done better.

I would sell Fellows to fund a decent keeper and a decent creative midfield as these players we desperately need. Wildsmith needs to look for a pub team!

Still only seen highlights of Albion's two games this season so looking forward to the Wrexham game (on TV albeit) to see what to make of the team this season. Only saw the penalty shoot out this morning (not knowing the result). I would have thought they would have had it at the Smethwick End but perhaps we were able to influence with home advantage (not that it counted for much).

Funny that we went virtually all of last season without an awarded penalty (did we obtain one in the end?) and then a penalty shoot this season to make up for it.

I would have bet a thousand quid that Wallace and Grant would miss before they took those pens. Wallace completely weakens the team when he comes on - can?t he be Baggie Bird FFS! Second highest wage after waste of space Dike too FFS!
