Thought Johnston was the difference going forward. So much better than Grant who runs around but does little.

Mason said after the match Johnston was playing catch up,after the transfer saga .
Could explain Grant getting the nod .

Johnston may revert to "Gone Missing" in the next match. Otherwise he will become an impact sub. Hope he improves this season, so that he can leave in the future.

Johnston was exceptional for us when on loan and inconsistent since he came back. So for me you don?t lose that excellence so he will come good. When Johnston runs at players he?s far better than Grant or even Fellows for me who is predictable. Johnston just needs to improve his final ball. I would have Johnston in the side every time over Grant who looks busy but does very little.

Celtic heads over here were always frustrated by his form. His issue remains his consistency. I agree anybody can have a bad game, but he would want to start showing that in consecutive games. It's well within him. Mason may be able to work some magic on him.

I have not read everything above or on the site generally. So there may be some repetition here. Nevertheless I would make three points

              1) Keeper is a real issue. Gaffes are an inevitable part of the game. However the potential for them must must be minimised and a general feeling of security there increased.

              2) The defensive capabilities in both full back areas is worrying.

              3) Diakite should start every game.

He's picked the team most of us would have started with. Would like to see Collyer given some meaningful playing time. Hopefully from a winning position not to change the game.
