We?ve got 50 odd members registered. Dubs is on but has not posted here or on the other side for a while. Since we locked the forum we?ve had more engagement and I think generally everyone has appreciated that. You both can make snide remarks too but i?m starting to see why they might be made about you.

You bag on about the other site not having enough posts, who cares? It was only created due to lack of accessibility and functionality of this site. Are you telling me that this site is popular with threads from a variety of people?

    Take the last few threads?
    Blackburn
    Trumps latest comments
    Thoughts for Bristol
    Chelsea Fine
    Isaac Price
    Meningitis Scare

All of the latest posts are from none other than you Al. Don?t give me that drivel again John.
Hello Regis. I hope you and your chums are having a lovely time on the swings with each other over in the new playground. Remember the thread BaggieBlood started on here about Lloyd? I seem to remember you starting one about Lloyd prior to that which was pretty much just as bad. No idea whether you were pissed at the time or just thought you'd be a cnut for s hits and giggles but I remember it well enough despite your later limited self reproach for said thread.

Be careful not to do the same over the fence as you don't want to upset any of your more sensitive members, some of whom will undoubtedly remember it as well. I didn't bother saying anything about you being just as culpable for Lloyd's exit as BaggieBlood at the time because as I've previously stated, we're all responsible for what we post. But I have to say it showed even less class than your response here. All of the very best to you and yours Regis .

Ah don’t draw me in that 68, i didn’t have anything to do with soulman leaving.. and i recall that moment well. While that spat was going on i stayed well away from it so I think you are mistaken there and you’re wrongly trying to put some blame on me over that, is misleading.

I will admit that I have in the past made remarks to soulman, like one or two others have.. but that was way before the spat you’re talking about.

Soulman if you’re reading this, i apologize for that past behaviour - sign up to our new site and I promise you’ll be glad you joined. I do miss some of the old footy related posts you share and also about your nephew who plays footie? i may be wrong.

You drew yourself into it when you started that thread Regis. Nothing to do with me. Nice try at deflecting blame though. Lloyd's free to make his own mind up about what happened at the time and whether he signs up to your new site. Meanwhile I think you're wrong because I don't think I am remotely mistaken, cumulative effect and all that. I also think you stayed away for a while because you knew full well you'd messed up. Have a wonderful afternoon .

Fk me, irony is well and truly alive on Baggies Banter today. Say hi to the gated community from me.

No idea why you’re on about 68… but i will say my spat was way before the spat that caused soulman to leave. I came off the site due to a bereavement. Wasn’t anything to with my actions on here.
Not sure why the new site that had now going private has got you annoyed and in a bit of a hissy fit on here 68. You can’t any longer look over the fence as a nosy neighbour anymore eh.
            😂

Clearly Regis it?s your lot ( albeit 4 or 5 posters ) that constantly look over the fence as they are like grease lightening to chuckle footymad is down - even making a post with cartoon images so I?m told. In your words - it?s sad😭

Glad you come on here though as clearly there?s more engaging posts or you wouldn?t peak a boo!

              Enjoy the sunshine 🌞

Hello again Regis. Didn't realise you'd popped back over the fence. Again. Welcome as always though. Firstly I'd like to extend my very belated condolences for your bereavement. Losing those close to you is always a difficult process, and I should know as I've been through that process on an ever growing number of occasions.

That notwithstanding it's hard to imagine someone with a baseline intelligence capable of producing their own app and website doesn't comprehend the concept of cumulative effect. Lloyd was responsible for whatever he posted and so were those who responded to him, as was their prerogative.

Football forums and the wider Internet in general provide challenges to our thought processes and opinions. Lloyd was challenged on numerous occasions but you were the first to go in two footed and over the ball against a stroke survivor in his 70s. Make no mistake Regis, you will most certainly have contributed to his decision to leave.

As for me being annoyed or throwing a hissy fit because you've closed the curtains on your other site I'd like to congratulate you for finally posting something remotely funny. Turns out you do have a sense of humour after all, albeit a clearly underdeveloped one. The day is young though so who knows what you could achieve by it's end ?

Have a wonderful day and please pass on my best wishes to your wider readership of circa fifty members. Oh hang on a minute, you might not need to. While this site isn't as lively as it once was and the tech has it dying in it's @rse it still regularly attracts guest visitor numbers in excess of eighty. I wonder which playground a lot of those guest visitors play in .

Take care everyone and see you all again. Again. Probably .

Appreciate your response there 68. But i think you’ve got this wildly wrong and off the mark, i’ve not denied where my involvement was but It think what you’re describing your account of events is wrong.

In November 2024 was when I recall I had that issue with soulman.. i remember this so well as I said to myself sod this site i’m off to NZ in few days for a month in Dec. When I returned in Jan, that was my family loss on Jan 2025.
I believe soulman left early summer 2025? We are talking quite few months from my spat - i think that’s unfair to put blame on me when he left in summer 2025 because he had a spat with someone else then, not me. I came back on this site late summer. That’s my take on it from what I genuinely happened, no bull from me - i didn’t get involved in that last spat soulman had (i can’t remember anyway unless im proven).

Soulman left for that summer spat, nothing to do with me.

Anyway, it’s going to be time people call time on this site - me included, which i guess isn’t a loss to you. I just can’t be bothered myself if i’m honest as we have better things to do. So respectfully, i wish you all the best. I’m out.

I think the non league game might be the better option!

I'd like to think that this site would be accessible around and during the game tomorrow but sadly wouldn't bet on it. Whatever you decide, I hope you have a good day -and let's all hope we put in another good performance and can take all 3 points away at Bristol COYB!

Personally, I hope you take some time to reconsider Regis and that we see you "this side of the fence" again at some point. In the meantime let's look forward to tomorrow and maybe a long awaited away win!

                          I concur with those sentiments.

I suspect 68 you may have got you wires crossed.

Soulman sadly left on the 14th September 2025 as the result of a thread started on the 13th September. There appears nothing written by Regis that would have made Soulman to sadly decide to stop posting. It was a the initial post and a post regarding spelling and grammar that was the issue which was made by another poster.

I, along with all wish Soulman would return. If you still read Soulman the site misses you, I hope you would reconsider and return.

Yes, OB, but Regis had attacked Soulman before, and, you know the straw that brakes the camel?s back?He eventually got tired maybe to be under ?attack?.

68?s description of the events that happened between Regis and Soulman is to my memory quite correct. I myself got some abuse on the threads that 68 described.

Morning. On the train to Bristol. I haven't got anything crossed. Not my legs. Not my eyes. Not my memory. I'll revisit either tomorrow or Monday. I'm very Balanced on this one. It's a lovely day and it's Albion away. COYB 😎 .

I recall this too Swedish. Regis wasn't involved with the comments that eventually pushed Soulman to leave but he has said some stuff in the past that (whilst he has subsequently regretted and apologised for) likely formed part of the cumulative effect leading to Soulman's decision.

In any event, I've no personal issue with either and hope both can move on and that both are well.
