  • Do you still use cash ?

We, since Covid have been using less cash and more on the debit card .
I pay cash to park for Albion matches and parking machines if I can, my wife's hairdresser prefers cash and the garage I use gives me discount for cash .
My accountant use to say to me why are you declaring all your cash jobs there is no paper trace , my reply was my quote always included any tax and I was honest . In some ways I reget paying it , but if you are honest it was the right thing to do .
When I treat family members I like to give cash, rather than a bank transfer .
The younger members of our family are hopeless with money, they earn big money, yet in reality are living pay check to paycheck.

I use cash all the time Lloyd to pay little independent businesses because I know they will pocket it! Good for them and they are appreciative. Lots of cafes I use give discounts for cash too! This restaurant we use who knows we will pay cash will also give us a free drink in the house.

Cash will always be king 😭😭😭

Cash when I can but it can be difficult given most football grounds are cashless these days. Surprisingly enough though given Gary Neville's liking for all things modern Salford pre season the other year was cash only and we were caught out having spent out en route. Thankfully a pal was on hand for a sub.

Not a fan of pubs which are card only but understand why they choose this model albeit turning away trade is a bit sniffy given how the hospitality sector is seemingly being strangled by the balls. That and supermarkets can be a real pain when they under staff checkouts and make most if not all self serves card only.

Many of the pubs in Middlesbrough are cash only as it goes straight in their back pockets. Can?t blame them
