  • Fuel Duty & Business Energy Costs

With fuel costs hugely increasing the useless government must be raking it in with taxation and still no freeze on duty from September onwards. Also businesses which already hate this government are seeing huge energy increases and unlike residential there?s no price cap.

Maybe Gutless Starmer and the Girl from Accounts would consider a decrease in taxation of fuel and do something to help businesses on energy cost increases. But no - everything to assist those on benefits and illegal immigrants pouring into the country!

Labour will get absolutely trounced at the May elections and deservedly so!

NO price cap for residential heating oil. There is no gas connection to our lane, so oil fired central heating, a log burner and a couple of electric wall heaters.

When we moved here 12 years ago heating oil was 30p a litre. Last year it was 70p a litre. Last week I paid ?1.58p a litre for a minimum order of 500 litres. Exploitation. I was offered ?1.80 a litre for a 300 litre lower minimum.

Jesus Prando - that?s extortionate! What?s the alternative? Freeze or pay it? Unbelievable then you look at 60% plus taxation going to the government who squander this excess money!!

Australia have halted the taxation on petrol and diesel which was already much cheaper than the UK! Nothing from this useless government and fuel duty is still set to increase in September. At over 60% in taxation the government must be raking billions FFS,

Starmer is a complete disgrace unless you fall into a couple of categories!

Morning Paul. That's some increase. No wonder domestic heating oil theft is on the rise in line with those costs. Take care as always 😎 .
