    Sad news indeed Al-and only 70. Another club legend who will be fondly remembered by many.

      Sad news. Great Keeper for the Baggies. Never saw him play but me dad says he was as good as what we have had.

        Sad news. Met Tony Godden a few years ago. Seemed a lovely fella. Honestly didn't remember he'd been with us for nine years in total until I read it on the BBC earlier. Rest in Peace Tony Godden 😔 .

            A good Kentish boy who started his career just a few miles up the road in Ashford before joining the Baggies. One of the most consistent goalkeepers we've had and would put our current keepers to shame. RIP Tony

              Totally agree Bomber, most underrated goalkeeper. Also in my top three along with Foster and Osbourne. Seventy is no age these days. R.I.P.
