I always have good memories looking at the Halfords from the Brummie , I can remember Bobby Robson leading the team out and carying the ball out , to the tune of stars and stripes ( wish the bring that back).
Another memory is Graham Williams going up the steps to collect the League cup in 1966 when we beat the World champions ie west ham. One of our best performances along with Albion 6 Man u 3, Astle peerfect hat trick in 1968.
I had the plessure of installing the Alarm system in the Halfords,Rainbow stand the security ofice at the back of the Smethwick.
