We really lack quality going forward, alas.

Millwall certainly have more quality to call on from their bench than us and really great work from Imray to keep that one out! Just hope that tackle on Diakite hasn't hurt him too much as he's been excellent so far.
The changes for Millwall seem to be working as they ramp the pressure up again but we're still up for it and despite of our lack of quality in front of goal we may yet snatch a goal with Molumby and Diakite coming close.
I think Dike has done ok tonight and battled well but Sule now on for him. Let's just hope he can replicate the goal scoring prowess he has shown in PL2. If he can we will all be very happy- and I'm sure no-one will bemoan any " told you so!" comments from Al😀

Despite our lack of quality in the final third that was a pleasing battling performance and while Millwall can claim that they should have won it given Coburn's miss and hitting the bar they didn't actually create too much more and we could equally have nicked a winning goal. Second half I thought we were generally the better team too.
Sule wasn't on for very long but he showed a smart touch to Maja. He won't have the needed physicality of Heggabo or Dike but maybe he will get more opportunities in these final games now. Hopefully Ollie Bostock might similarly get a few chances as Price may put the running in but too often his final ball and deliveries are poor.
Nice to see that Morrison hasn't only got them battling and playing for each other but also got them showing more attacking intent than we have shown most of this season and trying to create more chances. If he only we had more quality in front of goal!

Our inability to create many chances or even take them could be what sends us down, opposition goalkeepers must love playing against us, they have very little to do, playing with more purpose and commitment won?t keep us up if our three grazing donkeys are afraid to have a shot, we got off lightly last night against an under par Millwall teamOriginally posted by SwedishBaggie View PostDiakit? superb, Imray very good, as Campbell. Defensively strong performance.
But, our three so called forwards - they would struggle scoring in a Sunday league team? 🫣

Five million almost for Heggebo! I would have said 500K was a fair price! Sule did more in 10Originally posted by Bombers right foot View PostOur inability to create many chances or even take them could be what sends us down, opposition goalkeepers must love playing against us, they have very little to do, playing with more purpose and commitment won?t keep us up if our three grazing donkeys are afraid to have a shot, we got off lightly last night against an under par Millwall team
minutes as he has what Heggebo lacks - quick pacey feet and balanced!
