I think I know which chant the fans will be giving at Preston on Saturday.

Caleb was the future like our other promising youngsters, We also were robbed of almost 5 million for Heggebo whose feet get tangled up and God the loans have been awful with Junior, Mustapha and the lazy Vile kid who is certainly no better than Bostock. Bany does exist somewhere

Please God let?s get rid of Wallace, Dike, Maja and try and sell Mowatt and Grant. Coventry were promoted for a reason - good quality signings - young pacey players and an experienced manager! We need fresh vision from a coach and staff so things are different next season! I am sure Lampard and his staff don?t coach backwards and sideways football.
Yet Coventry still posted a loss in their accounts, how can this be sustainable in the long term? The EFL needs a drastic restructure, to a format that is to the benefit of the member clubs and not necessarily to the Premier League.

Hopefully our legal team have provided accurate advice and we will avoid any point reduction.

Notwithstanding, the timing of the claim is cataclysmic, given the recent upsurge in the players’ commitment and effort. Let’s hope Mozza may continue to motivate and dispense any negativity the announcement may well cause within the team.

According to BBC website (apologies to those who have already read it):

P&S rules allow a maximum loss of ?39 million over a rolling 3 yr period

          2022-23 club lost ?7.6 million
2023-24 club lost ?31 million (increase due to lose of parachute payment)
          2024-25 club lost ?17 million

The club posted a combined loss of ?55.6 million over the last 3 year rolling period which is obviously higher than the allowed ?39 million loss but the argument from the club is that this figure includes spending on infrastructure (improvements to the training ground and the spend on 4,000 safe standing seats eg), the academy and the women's team which are all exempt under P&S rules. The club insist that they have worked with the EFL throughout this period and remain confident that they have not breached the rules.

Let's hope they are correct and that this issue is resolved sooner rather than later and is not too much of a distraction on the pitch as a few wins rather than draws would make everyone feel a bit less jittery!

The players just need to ensure they are at least three points above the third from bottom team. How do we do that? Try and win a game with positive attacking football and not the backwards and sideways s hit for a starters!

West Brom insist they have fully complied with profit and sustainability rules, but they could be handed a points deduction.

Under Morrison I don't think we are playing much backwards and sideways. We play 2 up front and often go long asking them to hold it up. Result we don't let many in by giving the ball away in dangerous areas. Unfortunately it's not creating a lot at the other end. Just my opinion

At Blackburn especially almost every other ball was passed back to the keeper or sideways as I was there. Problem is there?s no creativity in midfield and Price mostly has been shocking. Mikey in my view is massively missed so very few balls coming into the box and needs to be more urgency to win the game. Sule did more in 10
mins against Millwall than Heggebo did all game and he looks ineffective and knackered.

Acido, Steve Bruce. How dare you mention his name on here. .

We do appear to have got our selves into a bit of a mess both on and off the field.

There is a lot of speculation out there. I read this morning that the hearing has already been concluded prior to the club being notified of the charges and further that the club is not permitted to appeal and are currently awaiting the outcome.

That would appear so wrong legally, procedurally and morally, so I am unable to take that seriously. You could not have a hearing if the club were not represented and you surely would not have a hearing before the club is charged.

It appears the EFL have a case and the club are denying the charges. I cannot get myself too worked up until we have clarity. It is a most unfortunate situation to be in, particularly at the seasons end. However we cannot change it so will have to deal with the outcome as and when.

I know a number of fans three or four years ago suggested it would be good to take the drop into league one in order to rebuild. They may yet get their wish, albeit, I do not see how that would help in any way.

Hopefully this is a storm in a tea cup. However, I think it may yet be a route for the survival of Leicester City football club.
