Thought they were all excellent but Phillips, Imray and Mowatt stood out for me. Wish we could sign Imray as he?s class.

Morrison quite rightly looked chuffed at the final whistle so credit where it?s due.

Would love to stuff Ipswich in our last home game with so many ex players!

All were brilliant for me, they are clearly up for the fight and a massive well done to James Morrison for changing the set up and getting the best out of what we have.

It is so nice to see so much positivity from players and the fans.

It was really good to see them playing as a well trained team, that’s down to Jimmy Morrison, he’ll have ‘legendary’ status after this! Also very pleased for Daryl Dike, great to see him score and it certainly meant a lot to him; after those two Achilles injuries, I feared that his playing days could be over.

Was really pleased for Dike as well Ketts and great to see all his team mates coming over to congratulate him as they all clearly knew how much it meant to him.

As for Morrison, after the dreadful performance at Oxford, he has got them pretty much improving game on game so far. The first thing he did was to put individuals where possible in the positions best suited to them (Campbell as a CB for example) and play with a two up front 4-4-2 formation which they were all far more comfortable with and which suited them better. Not rocket science you would have thought, but neither Mason or Ramsay saw it. He also-apparently-spoke to a certain Mr Pulls for some advice regarding our midfield which was too easily over run at times and managed to get us more solid in the middle of the pitch as well as much better defensively.

Having got the defence better organized and got them playing for each other, he then got them playing with more attacking intent. True, there were some games where we resorted to too many backward/ sideways passing (Blackburn)but, overall, he has got them creating more opportunities even if the quality in the final third has been woefully poor at times. But he's worked at it and the PNE game finally showed that our deliveries can be decent and that both Maja and Dike can actually hit the back of the net. It's been an awful long time coming but hopefully this will give both more confidence and belief and result in more goals for both in the few remaining games.

Morrison has also, of course, overseen a big improvement in some individual players, particularly Imray (who I would love to be able to retain for next season) and Diakite (MOTM in more than one game under Morrison) as well as utilizing Molumby on the right wing given the absence of Mikey and Wallace. Of course Molumby isn't a natural winger but you can't argue with that cut back to Dike on Saturday and whilst I think we all know that he hasn't the greatest quality in terms of footballing ability he surely deserves a huge shout out for his consistent battling attitude which was exemplified by that block late in the game against PNE. When people talk of those you'd "want in the trenches with you", Molumby is surely one of that kind.

Hats off too, of course, to all the travelling fans who spent their hard earned money and time to support them. They've been rewarded by increasingly better performances recently but their efforts are certainly appreciated by Morrison and the players and it's been brilliant to hear our away fans out sing the home ones!

Lots to be belatedly positive about at the moment but the issue of a points deduction hangs above us and we aren't safe yet so need to get as many points as we can from the remaining games. If he keeps us up then Mozza's status as an Albion legend will indeed be sealed-the big question then will be whether the club will choose to retain him as manager for next season. Given the cost and availability of an "experienced" Championship manager and the abject failures of our experimentation with young managers like Mason and (especially) Ramsay, giving Morrison the opportunity may well not be a bad move IMHO.
