  • Wouldn?t You Just Love to Beat Ipswich

With so many ex players it would be fantastic to beat Ipswich and seriously damage their chances of automatic!

Missed you Alex but must say Darnell your s hit compared to our Danny as he can defend unlike you! You had a good throw in though 😂

Come on Jimmy all out for three points!

I, too, would love a win over Ipswich, I can’t stand their manager McKenna and although along time ago, I haven’t forgotten Highbury ‘78. They have had a lot of dodgy refereeing decisions go their way recently, I hope that changes on Saturday. Anyway, for a change, I’ll be in the Smethwick for this one. COYB

Must say that I think that both Alex and Darnell served us well Al and I think that the Baggie fans will give them a decent welcome-but that won't stop us from wanting the 3 points and it would be brilliant if we could get them.

Morrison's post match interview on Tuesday certainly made it clear that he and the players wanted to reward the fans and take as many points as we can from these last two games and go out on a high.

Alex Palmer isn’t first choice goalie anymore, I believe, so he is likely to be on the bench. I thought Furlong was a good player for us, always put the effort in. I’m now very pleased with Imray at RB but at the time, I believed that selling Furlong and Palmer was a mistake.

Noticed Palmer was on the bench last week. Even now I would have him back for our first choice! I was no fan of Furlong because he consistently failed to mark his man in the box but yes there were positives. Imray is better! Selling Fellows was a huge mistake as he was a different class to Wallace and young too!
