  • Matt Gill

The forgotten man is this fantastic 10 game unbeaten run.
Described as a Technical Coach where is he in the pecking order? Anyone itk just how much influence he has been? Is he on a long term contract or was he 'interim' similar to Morrison?
I try to keep the Russell Martin connection out if my mind!

Matt Gill along with James Morrison have both done a fantastic job, please, please no mention of Russell Martin or the now jobless Scott Parker

I agree! I would take Derek McInnes over Morrison though but no chance of him coming with a brilliant job he?s doing with no money

You're quite right! Mozza deserves the plaudits but quite early on he knew that he lacked all the relevant experience and was tapping into people like former boss Tony Pulis for advice on some areas and, I believe, requested the club bring in Gill or someone like him to assist.

In interviews, Morrison always mentions the "coaching staff" and (rightly) puts the emphasis on the importance of teamwork rather than on individuals when talking of the achievements made under his tenure but Matt Gill, I am sure, has been integral to this.

Supposed to be a very good coach. Here's hoping he decides to stay on with us rather than becoming a part of Russell Martin's next chapter about himself at whichever club finds itself unfortunate enough to take him on.

              It says this on wba.co.uk

'And Gill will look to utilise his experiences across British football in the Baggies' remaining Sky Bet Championship matches.'

Does seem his contract was short term. If he is considered an integral part of 'the dream team' sign him up quick

I seem to remember the press report was the Gill’s contract was to the end of the season-essentially to assist Mozza.
                Maybe an extension clause ?
For me, the first port of call should be Mozza. Does he want him? Let’s not interfere with our new Manager’s plans.
