  • Top goalscorer award

Aune Heggeb? has won the Men?s 2025/26 Top Goalscorer Award, sponsored by Mega Riches.
The Norwegian striker scored 10 goals across 48 appearances in all competitions in his debut season for the Albion.

Not sure if this award is given out every year by Albion?
Seems an OK total but nothing special.
Aune will no doubt be with us next season and I hope he can improve on this total.

Poor return in my view for a five million outlay! Just not a natural finisher as too slow with his feet.

Fatigue caught up with him for the last 15 matches .
To be fair to him , he had played 26 games for his last club and no season break then straight into the championship .
I think he played over 70 matches on the trot. Mostly up front on his own
Expect him to do well .

I accept what you are saying Soulman and I think we also have to factor in that up until Morrison's tenure he was mostly played as a lone striker which, with poor levels of service, meant that he was never going to get too many goals. That said, I find it difficult not to agree with Al when he says that Heggabo is not a natural finisher. He does have physical strength though and can hold the ball up well. If Morrison continues with a 4-4-2 formation-which I think we have to-then I think he will have his part to play next season and hopefully we can find a more natural goal scorer to play alongside him!
