Hi , I've only seen the Stones once that was the free Hyde park concert after Brian Jones had died in the 60s .
Let it Bleed was a good album , but coudn't name any of the later ones .
Myself i could listen to the Beatles for a couple of hours and I fiind they lift my spirit , where as with the Stones I get bored after half an hour

On the old Stones v Beatles debate, I'm with you Soulman. There are some Stones songs I like (all from their 60s hey day) but the Beatles output was far more varied and innovative. There are some duff or mediocre tracks of course, but the breadth of their music over effectively just 7 years is quite stunning.

Btw, if you like the Beatles you might like Ian MacDonald's "Revolution in the head" which goes through all their different songs and the recent Ian Leslie book "John and Paul: a love story" is also recommended. George and Ringo don't get much of a look in but it examines how the relationship between Lennon and McCartney influenced their song-writing.
