Stokes, arrogant over rated player that has one innings in him in a blue moon, an Ian Botham he is not, the guy should be sacked and never seen again, then we laughable get Brook as Captain, you couldn?t make it up, what a s h1t show we are, Atkinson should go as well, it?s time the ECB grew a pair and clamped down on these jokers

I am in agreement with you. We can all make mistakes, make a bad call, but they should learn from them, particularly as they are or should be role models. They need to be made responsible for their appalling behaviour.

It is time for a massive shake up and yes, it is time for the ECB to do the necessary, for the good of the English game.

There are some people who seem to like to ‘take on’, goad, or otherwise provoke well known people; Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson are highly competitive individuals, not the sort to ‘turn the other cheek’. If we want to win the big sporting competitions then we need competitive people, not shrinking violets. The 60’s and 70’s are long gone, along with the sporting characters that set the standards of the time. Our sports stars are products of our age, society breeds characters of the age. I prefer the standards of old but, of course, I am old!

It's not difficult really. Just keep out of trouble as best as you can and be in by twelve. Have another little tot or two in the hotel bar or your room thereafter if you wish but be aware you have a professional responsibility to yourself and your teammates to keep yourself fresh for the following day's travails. That's it.
