  • Jimmy-Jay Morgan

Signing on a permanent deal from Chelsea. 20 years old and impressed at Posh on loan last season. 15 g/a in 34 games.

Seems to know where the net is and still young. Played for England at various youth levels, so, on the face of it, looks a decent signing.

Well that sounds most promising. Looked around and only found it on X. Hopefully it is true and he lives up to his potential and gets the opportunity to show it.

I know next to nothing about him but it does feel like the type of deal that we should be going for.

Sounds like we are about to sign Carter Pinnington, a 6'2 central defender from Liverpool. Only 18 and experience with England at youth levels.

Ah thank you Soulman. Hopefully we will some action in the transfer market, but given our financial difficulties etc. I guess we will need to keep ourselves in check with regard to expectations and who we get.

Think you are definitely right on that one OB!

While we try and manage expectations are we also all now prepared for the waves of uncertainty, false rumours and mere speculation that Monday's opening of the transfer window will herald from various media?😁

Sort of player we need to gamble on. What was the fee?

From what I've read, neither Morgan nor Pinnington are done deals yet, although reports say we are close on both. How nice to be in early for a change -and for promising youngsters to boot!

Pinnington has been with Liverpool for 12 years apparently and has opted to leave rather than extend his contract as he wants to play first team football and push on so presumably this is something we must have offered. He has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the club.

All good stuff but the news I really want to hear is that we have managed to retain the services of Danny Imray for next season. Anyone heard any updates on that at all, or any movement on the Maja or Grant offers for that matter?

£1.3 million apparently. I have read a little more on the lad and posh fans are very positive. He plays just off the striker apparently so his goal tally is more impressive.

We need more talented youngsters and to this end not many will be in tears if Grant and Maja go either!
