    Off to Southampton for 10m.

I don't mind selling our better players, but I would hope it would be for a good sum. This is 5m at least to cheap.

Particularly when you consider they've just sold 2 players for 40m each lately and they are a championship promotion rival.

To be honest he?s a good player but don?t feel he?s premier quality - very predictable. Just hope Wallace does not come back in if he goes as he?s past it to start matches

Think 10m is a fair price? I think he's worth more

        Just read this
Saints are paying 7m guaranteed to West Brom and there will be performance bonuses added to it as well.

So, I think it should have been 10 plus performance based etc. If hes gone for 7 million its not fair on us.

That's even worse! Hope this isn't the case

Just pipped me to it 123!

If he does go, then agree that we could have got closer to the ?15m that Everton were muted to pay. That said, whilst he is a good player- and it is always nice to see academy players progress-I have sympathy for Al's point of view. I don't think his step-over makes him a one-trick pony, but he can be ineffectual in games and has more to learn. Will still be sad to see him go if this does come off though.

The sale of Heggem and now potentially both Furlong and Fellows could potentially bring in about ?23m between them which may be a very welcome change in the club's finances but begs the moot question of who we have in our sights to replace Fellows? No good having the money but significantly depleting the quality of the squad in the process.

Just read the ?7m plus add-ons rumour-not a good deal!

Bad business.....when been sold to a premiership club it should be more. Got £10 million for a defender just bought for a few bob and we sell a youth player who has been invested in over the years for £10 million?
This is bad business no matter how poor a player he may be.

His contract is up next summer , although we would get some pay out .
Caleb Taylor is due to have a medical at Millwall

Patel & Co are morons. What a ‘kin stupid decision. Just about finishes football for me, full of greed and idiots.

A big, big loss. Cheap price. We need the money but I reckon this is another one we will regret. If Fellows is average! Oh for goodness sake, it shows why some are more focused at criticising rather than supporting.

It’s all about money now, these people would flog their grannies for tuppence; fcuk the fans who enjoy watching players such as Tom Fellows. I am surprised, though, at Tom going to such a dump of a club as Southampton, a dead end, a wasteland.

You can still watch Devante Cole though Ketts. Don?t think he will be off until his last pay cheque hits the bank 😂😂

Although unfounded…I consider that the the owners have made the right decision having weighed up the financial benefit and inevitable playing gap resulting. Whatever figure quoted, will of course not be the actual deal struck.
As an aside, Tom’s recent (albeit extremely short) form has not reflected last season. Opposition defenders are alive to countering his skills and his crossing has been average at best.
I am sorry to see him go, but understand the owners reasoning

I think thats fair. His form tailed off massively after Maja got injured.

I think weve had rose tinted glasses around Fellows value due to being home grown. He is a good player but limited. Those limitations mean he was never going to the premier league and not one of the best in the league.

He doesnt really excite me to be honest. Id love it if we went abroad and used our last ESC slot on a real game changer.

The bargains we have bought since Bilkul came in suggests we should trust their judgement.

Good sum up Matt. Very predictable player and certainly not a premier player. I know he?s not consistent but Mikey excites me far more and a game changer.
