Definitely need a replacement for Fellows Boingy as Wallace is ok for back up but over the hill now.

Was going to post the same! The defence seems sorted and whilst it would be nice to bring in a creative young midfielder I don't think it is critical and think we will see more of Diakite this season.

The right wing is where we have an issue as Wallace is no starting replacement for Fellows. I can see Mikey being switched to the right with Grant on the left but if we can bring in Iling Junior this gives us a very good option. More naturally a left winger, he has also played on the right.

Apparently Falkirk are after Alex Williams. Think it is for a loan rather than purchase but whilst we now have a number of decent defenders, most are primarily centre backs who may be able to cover at RB (as Campbell did on Saturday). A loan may benefit his development but do we risk losing our only natural RB ?

Looks like Taylor, Fellows and Furlong out. Iling-junior, Charlie Taylor, Mepham and Gilchrest in.

Not sure on what the plans are for the right side but suspect Iling will be there cutting onto his left?.

According to the E&S we have put a bid in but that's as far as it has gone so far. If we can land him, it will certainly give us a boost for this season though they bought him for 14m euros so don't know what his wages will be. Would have preferred us to find a decent winger at a reasonable price to purchase but that's probably a hard ask with 19 hours to go.
From memory, I don?t think that Vilers tend to do very well at Albion! As for a decent winger, we had a very promising lad who set up quite a few goals and scored some himself; he was an exciting prospect, a lad by the name of Tom Fellows!

Personally, I think that this has been one of our better transfer windows. Now we have a squad full of experience and youthful exuberance. I?m sure that most fans are feeling quite optimistic at the moment. Well done to the recruitment team.

Yes, has been a decent window but would have kept Fellows!

Great window. Not bothered about fellows. Mikey Johnston is twice the player. Junior can play in Fellows place. Grant and Wallace there too. Solid signings. Really excited.

                              - lowered the age of the squad
                              - made a healthy amount of profit against debts and PSR
                              - lowered the wage of the squad
                              - improved in most areas
                              - defence that can play out from the back
                              - pace and power added

I think we were one attacking player from the perfect window. Credit to the club

Sasa with dodgy knees from wolves could be on the way
WBA - West Brom could be set to make their ninth signing of the transfer window as they look to secure a loan deal for Sasa Kalajdzic.
