He never proved himself in the Championship to be honest, so I think it was a really strange decision to sign him from us.

Not sure of the transfer fee when we signed him (2 year contract) but a typical “let’s take a punt” acquisition. It didn’t work, but maybe a career restart at Port Vale. I think he scored a hat trick against Port Vale in a 7-0 slaughter ?

No different from us if we were to get promoted. We would struggle no matter who our coach manager was. It is a step up for Port Vale.
