Looks like i'll be staying on here all so as I cannot get activation emails for regis's baggies forum i must have asked a dozen times on 2 different emails and still no activation email. My user name began as phild and is now phild8 and still no email and its not in any spam folder

Ive used macbook but just used the iphone and still no luck - thanks anyway for your efforts

Hey Phil, i’ve just manually activated you so you can log in using the phil’s and password. Not sure what’s happened, but maybe the activation email went to spam? Could be a gmail issue.. in recent months gmail and yahoo have gotten stricter with the use of their emails. Anyway, you’re all good to go.

I think those of you who are sticking to this site - fair enough, your more than welcome to join the new one - i honestly think you’ll all really enjoy using it and will wonder why you did t switch all this time. If there’s something that needs changing, happy to. I’m already seeing the positives of the new one.. no random quotes replaced by question marks, no logged out issues, no ads - surely you guys have had enough of it?

Thanks Regis yes i can now log in to the new site. Im more than happy to give it a whirl as this site can be fine for a day or two. But for now i dont mind visiting both sites for now

I have been reading this site for years and have been joining in as a signed in member since May 2023, so I feel I have some allegiance to it. That said I am tempted to sign up to Regis? and or BaggieSteve?s site just so we can all keep in touch.

I love the prediction league which Bomber currently runs so that is another reason to hang on here.

Just as an aside, Al, I have noted Mickd has logged on here a few times recently. I do check who?s logged on when I come on just to see who is about, so it is possible he may return. I know we all do fall out at time regarding our opinions but that?s life. It would be good if he, Mick and a few othersmight come back, albeit, perhaps refrain from the personal insults.

Access to this site has improved very recently so I?ll wait and see. That said, I wish Regis all the success with the new site, which I may join shortly in conjunction with this site.

been no falling outs on this site for a long time. Even with different posts regarding Trump/Illegals etc still no falling outs even though naturally people will have different views.

I am in touch with Mick daily but it?s up to him if he returns.

Incidentally, there?s no issues on Leeds Mad for example with punctuation etc so no doubt this could be fixed easily by a Mod with tech know how. Perhaps someone could volunteer to be the Mod - be in touch with the Leeds Mad Mod - and get it fixed.

The work carried out previously be Phil and now Bomber for the score prediction is immense and fun so wouldn?t want to move because of this. Bomber has already said he?s staying on here.

I recall Mick saying that there is virtually nothing that a Mod can do for most things. It just doesn't exist on here.

Myself or Mick are not technical. If the Leeds Mad site does not have the issues then someone with expertise has fixed it. Not bothered personally anyone about the odd question marks etc

With regard to the punctuation, I have found, though I do not always remember to do it, that if you edit it, it reverts back with the correct punctuation.

Punctuation is what it is. After a win and a few glasses of red it goes out the window anyway.

I?m getting old and don?t like change so will stay here enjoying Bombers prediction league. I get annoyed going to a supermarket ie M and S for example to find they have moved food items around and you can?t find things 😂

Mick?s doing well and is aware of the new site but not sure he will post anywhere. Yes stuck in my ways but not of good health of late. Wish you the best and don?t see why anyone can?t get the best out of both sites.

Been in touch with Dan (68 ) so will meet up with him at the Boro match at some point
