Well, so much for Labour promising to rid politics of sleaze and corruption and the return of integrity. We have a Chancellor who lied on her CV and a Deputy Prime Minister and Housing Minister who has obviously lied through her back teeth regarding her property dealings. These are just two of the many issues regarding this current Labour Party.

This is not the first time that there have been questions raised about Rayner and her property transactions. Let us be perfectly honest about this, as Minister for Housing surely she should know the basic rules and regulations. She only had to look on the website to find out what she should be paying and did not need expert advice. She is a hypocrite of the highest order in the way that she has attacked others for similar misdemeanours.

The bottom line is that she should never have been a representative of this country and would have been far better off staying on at school and gaining a rudimentary grasp of the English language.

Let?s not forget too after Starmer attacked the wine parties he accepted corporate hospitality at the Emirates. Then there?s the beautiful little apartment provided by Lord Ali so his son can study in peace FFS. The arrogant Tool Makers Son keeps thinking he?s doing no wrong!

Appealing the Bell Hotel with the Judge with Labour links after a 14 year old school girl was s exactly molested, Does Starmer not get the local feeling of all with these single men in a cosy hotel who consider women like dirt in their own countries and s exual objects.

Best thing would be for Starmer to resign too. Reform must be laughing their socks off with a good 15% lead.

Rayner even tried the sob story card! Anybody moving would check all the costs including stamp duty where there?s an online calculator. The lies and hypocrisy makes you sick.

Although I support some of the things she championed ( the Workers Rights Bill, for example, which I feel is only opposed by those who don't care if employees are exploited), I have never really liked Angela Raynor. Tbh, I suspect that Starmer needed her in the position of Deputy as a means to better unify the Labour Party by providing a bridge to the more left wing elements. It will be interesting to see who gets appointed in her place but Nige is already rubbing his hands with glee!

Bad Enoch was out of order calling for Starmer to sack her before the Ethics Advisor had even begun his investigation but, of course, Raynor has made similar demands against former Tory MPs in similar circumstances. May all be part of the political game, but smacks of hypocrisy.

As for the issue of stamp duty, whilst I might believe that she was uncertain over the need to pay due to the one property being held in trust for her son, I do not believe that she did not suspect that this could well be the case. Either way, she appears to have made scant effort to have found out. It may be pretty self evident that far too many MPs of all stripes have been found self-serving over the years but the electorate should still surely expect the bar for their honesty and integrity to be high and Raynor knew this.

AS for your comment about staying at school Leics, this would have been difficult given that she was pregnant, but take your point. Absolutely nothing wrong with coming from a working class background but I think she eggs this too much, to the point that it appears dishonest or an affectation. In her interview she said "proper" rather than "properly" and whilst I don't doubt that she may once have spoken like this, to still do so many years later -with all the kinds of people she would have been in contact with- comes across as too much like Catherine Tate's "Am I bovvered" character.

Rayner is the SEVENTH Minister to either have had to resign or have resigned against party policies since the Government came into power around 12 months ago.

Tories were a mess and were rightly slated for their sleaze but Labour are already showing they are no angels to say the least.
