    Club World Cup

I tried to post this earlier but the website played up and lost it all (very annoying)
    Anyway here we go again

I was surprised to find that the club world cup is on terrestrial TV (Channel 5).
I watched the 2nd half of the Bayern match, what a one sided hiding that was.
I watched some of the 1st half of the Chelsea match, LA played OK.
I believe Dortmund are on later today.
It has some of my interest currently but not sure if it will last.

    Anyone else watching it ?

I am not in the least bit interested in it, another FIFA damp squib. Anyway, the Summer is for cricket and cycling, not football, which really shouldn’t start until September.

I've watched bits and bobs due to an interest in most things football but I can't say I'm remotely invested in it. Tonight's watching will very definitely be on England's U21s as they play Germany at 20:00hrs later. Come on you Lions 😎.

Interesting to read that Rondon played quite well last night against Real Madrid. It seems a lifetime ago when he played for us.

Didn't see any of that one, probably an overnight match?
It does seem a long time since Rondon played for us, looked him up on Wiki and seems we made a swap loan with Gayle coming to us and Rondon going to Newcastle where he was a success. He then left for China.
                  He'll be 36 this Sept.

Nor me. Summer should be for cricket.

                      Same here.
Actually keeping my eye on The Albion is as far as I go regarding football. Did watch some of the girls playing recently but probably for the wrong reasons....

Also I am afraid I have no interest in the womens’ game either. I have watched it but it just isn’t for me. I feel that I am being made to feel guilty about this especially by the BBC who seem insistent on giving it blanket coverage

My interest in this has lessened as the tournament has progressed and although my tv currently has the PSG match on, I'm not really paying attention to it or the final.
Chelsea will have made some dosh though

Feel exactly the same. Do not get me wrong, I think that it is great that women play football but it is not for me. I also agree that that the BBC, and TV in general, promote the woman’s game far more than it warrants.
