I believe he had a quite a fall out with Ron Saunders at the end of his playing career at WBA ! Essentially, Saunders did not treat him well when he returned from injury, and totally disregarded his 15+ years service to us.
Ask him about it JOS buddy…it’s quite a story. It says a lot about the unfortunate management style of Saunders.

Does he mention in his book the Ron Saunders’ leaving situation BB buddy ?Originally posted by BaggieBlood View PostHe gave the baggies cap to the great great grandson of legendary goalkeeper called Reader today at the match.
Absolute legends (both of them).
Ally Rob's autobiography "Thou Shalt Not Pass", is an excellent reader. His habitual drink driving, sometimes ending in a crash was surprising.

Yes he was a complete legend just like Wile. I remember being at Highbury v QPR when Wile banged his head badly.
A legend of mine is Willie who is still active at 78 as below:
Club Ambassador:
He serves as a club ambassador for Rangers, where he is considered a legend.
Meet and Greet:
He meets and greets fans, takes selfies, and signs autographs for supporters at Ibrox Stadium.
Appearances:
He attends various fan events, including a recent trip to Australia for a supporters' social.

I don't mean to cast disrespectful aspersions but I think you may have bumped your head since then Al as it was against Ipswich. Could be wrong though as I wasn't there for that one 😉 .Originally posted by baggieal View PostYes he was a complete legend just like Wile. I was sat at home with tears in my eyes though having listened to it on the radio, watched updates of the game and then saw the final score with Ipswich having beaten us 3-1 in the FA Cup Semi Final.
My dad saw me sat on the floor by the settee crying broken hearted in front of the TV and just said 'try not to get too upset Danny, it's only the Albion and they always let you down'. Wise man my dad, prophetic even 💔.

Yes it was against Ipswich and I was there. The reference to QPR was a group of their morons chucked me through a window of what was Chelsea Girl after the match! The hospital food was better than the earlier hot dog 🌭
Maybe that was when my head was bumped 😭
