I despise Aston Villa but don't occupy my evenings following their results. That doesn't make me any less of an Albion supporter. As luck would have it I'm still fortunate enough to have a healthy love life to keep me busy.
Feeling blessed and didn't even realise they'd played last night until I saw the results this morning. Them losing again, all be it in the League Cup and especially on penalties, is very funny though.
On a wider note I make a point of never watching them on live TV broadcast as I don't want to tempt fate and see them win. Wouldn't watch them if they were playing in the back garden so I'm not inviting them into my home via the TV either.
Can't even be @rsed with their highlights unless they get beat heavily and don't score in reply (I wouldn't want to hear them celebrate a fart never mind a goal). Might watch last night's penalty shootout later for a giggle. Might not. Fk 'em.Comment

Similarly we (me and SWMBO) enjoy such moments, particularly as we are blessed with a plethora of friends who spout constantly about the Vile.
