Various outlets reporting that Mason now seriously considering moving Styles into midfield. Styles has appeared as a midfielder on the official first team squad page for a while now and, obviously, he plays for his national team in this position and from the games I saw, performed well there. The acquisition of a natural LB in Charlie Taylor should enable this. I think the change would please many and perhaps we may even see it in the up coming game against Boro?

I think Mason?s spot on, playing a recognised left back gives more balance to the side and Styles would bring more energy to the midfield, Mowatt is too slow

Totally agree with that and Junior in rather than Wallace and Maja to at least start.

The extra couple of inches in height with Taylor will be valuable as often Calum is targeted with the long high ball. Also Calum’s energy will similarly provide some positives in our midfield.
