  • Team v Norwich

For me - I wouldn?t change anyone from the starting line up v Leicester. You can?t change Taylor now who was a proper full back and composed and Junior who offers pace. It would be a gamble to change Mowatt or Molumby for Styles or Collyer when they were decent yesterday.

Same starting team for me. Any other views on this?

You would think he would start with the same XI….I wonder whether he will want to tinker / rotate the squad.
Assuming Diakite is match fit, he may get a start in place of Mulumby or Mowatt. Styles didn’t do himself any favours in midfield when he came on - so maybe he will get another midfield start.
I have no preference for either Heggebo or Maja, but I feel Maja is not quite fully match fit and maybe an unnecessary risk to start him.
And somehow Wallace remains in favour…but surely not as a start !
Great to have a number of positive options baggieal buddy !!!

Norwich aren't Ipswich and lost key players such as Borja Sainz, Rowe and Nunez in the summer transfer market and although they've brought in Kvistgaarden and Diallo they haven't really improved their squad.

I think we can be more attacking in our tactics on Wednesday but, aside from maybe bringing in Styles for Mowatt or Molumby (both of whom had a decent game on Friday to be fair), I would keep to the same starting line up. Defensively we looked good and we were well organized but, whilst no game in the championship should be underestimated, Norwich should give us the opportunity to create more chances-we just need to take them!

Agree with you about Maja, although I think he will still come on at some point (as, doubtless, will Jed &#128513. When fit, I personally would like to see him start alongside Heggabo.

Also hope that we see Price return to his best on Wednesday. He showed a few nice touches and movement against Leicester, but didn't have the impact I'd hoped for.

Your last comment is bang on and something that Mason always seems keen to stress -it's not about individual players, it is about the team/ group so that he can have cover and options when needed. In a league like the championship this is a must.

Anyone who knows where the net is would be a good inclusion!

The Illing lad scored a wonderful goal but the rest of his play was awful. Not the answer.

I thought the same Ketts buddy. Stunning run, dribble and shot….but thereafter very disappointing. Strange.

My son said the same Ketts as his foot work was awful. Better than Wallace though! I would love to try Bostock the young kid as he?s a terrific player!

Even Devante Cole may have scored the one Maja missed! Then again 😂😂😂

Not so sure Al. Defensively we were pretty good and Mason can surely see that having Taylor at LB is an improvement on Styles. Whether he elects to retain Styles in midfield is another thing though as, whilst he does well for his country in this position, I felt he was poor on Friday. Maybe Diakite or Collyer may get a look in? Going forward, Mikey surely has to start before Wallace and, personally, I would play Maja and Heggebo together so the question would be whether to then play Iling Junior or Price. Junior's goal was inspirational but otherwise he offered little last game and Isaac has definitely gone off the boil lately.

Whatever the selection, Mason must be clearly mindful of a few things (thankfully, his interviews seem to bear this out): 1) Norwich cant be under-estimated because they will be desperate to reverse their home form 2) we need to get a win tonight so start with our best attacking players 3) a one goal lead is never enough and 4) with Millwall coming up so soon afterwards, once the game is deemed safe enough, subs need to be made to rest key players for the next match.

                  We shall see....

Just heard team news on the wireless.
                      Maja in for Heggebo
No other changes though no idea what the bench is

Maja needs to perform! Personally I would have played him with Heggebo as Price of late has been poor.

Winning 1-0, but a bloody awful performance so far, too much backwards and sideways, giving Norwich too much respect, only a matter of time before they score
