Played great and confidence has grown with a better defence and no Furlong. Well done lad!

One of the best goalkeeping displays Ive seen for a long time. Three outstanding saves, two of which I think were more likely to be goals than not.

Agree Matt - he was superb. His confidence has grown though with better defenders and Furlong gone! Pleased for him

By all accounts Griffiths was MOM. Got us extra points tonight. We are not going to score many goals per game so a tight defence is ***** in the equation.
Clean sheet should spread confidence across the team, even if against a poor Norwich that haven't got a point at home this season.
Glad for Griffiths as I believe he has the makings of an excellent keeper.

It's great to get a win and well done to Griffiths and the defence . But as I keep saying Mason is bot the man - 1-0 with 70 minutes to play and then no real attempt to add to score .

That is poor management- a mistake a deflection a bad decision a worldie and then it's gone in a moment . Maintaining an attacking threat - eases pressure on the defence and keeps the other team honest
. Mason is now showing he's a 1-0 manager and that is a high risk strategy .

Away from home though? Against a side with the best striker in the league.

I do agree though it felt like we defended very deep, very early. But it worked at the end of the day.

We huffed and puffed but they are a decent side so three points is three points. No easy games away.

I don't think they have picked up a point at home after five attempts, so good win but hardly over flowing with confidence at home.

Good point but also could be dangerous as they will get a good result soon. Bot like Coventry thrashing Millwall at their ground last night - they could be up for it even more against us to make things right!

I?m catching you in the prediction league after last night Dubs 😂😂😂

I mean they arent a bad side though are they Dubbag? Certainly top 10 capability.

What is positive is that we make it really difficult for sides and dont concede many.

We are getting the best results away from home than we have for a number of years. For me, I would rather we defend well away from home and win, than attack a lot and lose.

At home is different unless we are up against top opposition. I want to see us on the ball and dominating, which I think we have done also.

Totally agree and have good options too with players. I even thought Wallace did OK when he came on last night and no I have not been drinking 😇😂

Obviously I wasn't able to watch the game but, whilst I certainly would not start him ahead of Mikey, I think Wallace has done well in the games he has come on for. As Mason is at pains to say, the Championship demands clubs have a decent squad of players and although I sometimes think that he takes Johnstone off a bit too early in games where we really need an extra goal from, Jed has been capable cover.

I agree with you that the pairing of Molumby and Mowatt slows down our midfield so would expect to see Mason using his options of Styles, Diakite or Collyer more. I also feel that we are missing Grant at the moment. He isn't a proven goal scorer but surely offers more energy and impact than either Iling Junior or -sad to say-Price are currently having. Not having him available (through a quad injury I believe?) is limiting Mason's options.

Good to see Maja start-and get his goal-but Mason is clear that he has to manage his game time still. Going forward, I would still like to see him play alongside Heggabo though as I think the two together offer more of a threat. With Grant unavailable, maybe continue with MJ and Junior on the wings but rest Price (who has been disappointing lately) to allow this?
